Usb Mass Storage Device Driver Windows Xp Why Does My USB Mass Storage Device Not Work After Resuming From A Windows XP Sleep?

Why does my USB mass storage device not work after resuming from a Windows XP sleep? - usb mass storage device driver windows xp

My 256k Cruzer USB device works well in Windows Service Pack 1 When I upgraded to SP2, I can only work if you restart the computer when I use the standby mode. This suggests that there is a problem in Service Pack 2, software, hardware is not as support.microsoft.com tried to me (to say that a Toshiba Satellite). I went to my Windows Device Manager and disable select this option allows computers to disable [USB Root Hub], but this does not solve the problem. Windows Update driver told me that my drivers are updated. I think it is a computer with SP2, "sleep problem, but of course no drivers for it. Thank you in advance for any advice.

I am facing a problem every day, I'm Memorex Get Tech Support, so calls like every day is that your service could do to check pack, then you can go to Device Manager and go via the Universal Serial Bus controllers " and then click on the yellow label and check the changes in the device, and you can also try the driver update or just assign a different drive letter.

I have not heard the problem, but I would say that your assumptions are correct. If the system into standby mode, it takes off some services. It is probably an estimate, if you go into hibernation. You can try disconnecting and reconnecting to see if Windows is back.
